Am about to buy a new SIGMA 70-200mm f2.8 APO EX DG Macro Lens For Canon EOS For £550 new . WILL it matter too much if no IS
Mainly for footie matches. Is that a good buy? Mark 1. Thank you
 
For sports if you had IS you would want to turn it off anyway. The only exception is for he expensive professional lenses where here s a third option to have IS work for vertical movements only.
