hey peeps i have a 85mm 1.8 for my canon 600d but noticed that the macnifaction is waaay to much si have decided to look at the following 2 lens but can not make my mind up plz help me
tamron 28-75 mm 2.8
or
sigma 24-70mm 2.8
mainly will be used for portaits at weddings etc and close ups which the prime cant really get close to subjects the sigma is so expensive compared to the tamron and was wondering if there is anything majorly different with the 2

OP. The best option would be to call into a camera store and give a couple of lenses a try. A 17-50mm f2.8 and a 24 or 28-70mm f2.8 might be good starting points and you could add a 50mm f1.4 to your list of possible purchases too.
PS. Maybe take a look at a 70-200mm f2.8 too.
