New lens shots

Never had a zoom before and have to say I am struggling with focus issues and the weather aint helping

Couple I took the other day.

Always the same get a new lens and the weather turns Crap they are pretty good shots Padman

I agree you seem have caught these little fellas nicely with fair amount of details.
I am suffering from same problem as you i.e. new zoom lens + s**t weather!

I just got my new Zoom lens today , the canon 1-400 mkll , and yep the weather here is pants also .

Its the Sigma 150-600 C

A few more from the other day. BIG crops as the bird was a long way off. Just wish I had more feather detail but again weather was very dull.

A friend has that lens and his advice it to never use it at the full 600mm as he finds it on the soft side. He recommends stopping at 580mm for the best results.
