Hey everyone  Didnt quite know where to put this!!

But I was so excited and had to shout about the fact that I got a new lens for my camera...............YAY hehe santa definetly thought i had been a good girl this year!! hehe

Opened my 45-200mm for my G1 on christmas day and was nearly bouncing from the walls hehe so desperate to get out and take pics of EVERYTHING lol

Now im looking for a new bag to put my G1 + 2 lenses....obviously still building kit as just a beginner lol any recommendations?? :D

I'm starting to really like the Kata bag range.

Some of them are a bit.... weirdy.... but I got a DH-425 holster bag recently for my D300s/18-200VR combo and was mighty impressed. Would recommend you get one a size bigger than you currently need, otherwise you'll be collecting bags pretty soon!

Have a gander here:

PS: Congrats on the lens by the way!

I like the holster type bags when out and about with just 1 camera.
You can thread it through a rucksac belt or on the shoulder

yeh i would like a rucksack or an over the shoulder bag, im at the stage where i feel a bit embarressed about getting the big camera out and feel like people stare, lol so something inconspicuous would be good lol ive currently got a small over the shoulder bag but not big enough for the extra lens :( lol

Hey, just wondering what your thoughts were.....I was out today and popped into a shop to have a look at camera bags and came across Crumpler bags, that i really liked, was just wondering if anyone had had one and got any positive or negative feedback before it goes on the birthday wish list? hehe :D

Hi, the Crumler bags are very nice, well padded and often don't look like a Camera bag, which can be a bonus on occasions, I'd definately get one on the birthday list - unless they have a very good offer on at he moment, then I'd get it now.

I've only got a cheap Delsy camera bag, but its designed like a rucksack so very inconspicuous. I can put Canon 30D, 100-300, and 18-55 plus all the spare bits and bobs - and a short lens like a 50mm should I get one. Enjoy your new 45-200! ;)

What a nice surprise to have on Christmas morning, I would liked to have unwrapped a lens! Personally I would go for a fairly small bag as the G1 with two lenses won't take up much room and unless you are planning on adding more gear soon a big bag can be a hassle. I would look at one of the Lowepro shoulder bags, either the Nova or Rezo range. I reckon the Rezo 160 would be a good size for your kit (but you'd want to check one in a shop to make sure). Have fun with your new toy.

Thanks for your responses guys, as always this is definetly the best place to get advice,

Thanks andyred, thats the reason i liked the crumpler so much because it didnt look like a camera bag, my partner thought it looked like a nappy bag ***, lol.

Thank you lawrenceots will have a look at the other bags suggested and let you all know which one i liked :D

Postcardcv - yeh it was such a lovely suprise :D nearly bounced off the walls!! lol and i will have a search into the other bags mentioned!! very exciting!!

Thank you again for all your advice :D

Have you got the 20mm f1.7 'Pancake' lens for your G1? It seems to be the best quality IQ lens for Panasonic cameras. I have it on my GF1 and it is superb!

Hi AndyWest,

No i havent got the pancake lens, but its the top of my wishlist, lol need to get saving the pennies!! lol

Have you got any of your shots online that youve taken with it? do you like the GF1?

You won't be disappointed!!!! :D

£279 from http://www.mathersoflancashire.co.uk/page55.html

YES!! i LOVE my GF1. It's small enough (with 20mm) to be a great compact type camera but has all the big boys stuff on it so i have the best of both worlds. I would like to do some street/candid stuff and this camera should be perfect as people don't realise what you are taking pics of or even that you are taking any!
