New Lenses

I've now decided to get some new glass after a couple of years with my sony kit lens and tamron 70-300.
I don't have the disposable income to spend on "CZ" or "G" glass so i am looking at third party lenses and narrowed it down to these three

Tamron 17-50 f/2.8

Tamron 24-70 f/2.8

Tamron 70-200 f/2.8

Does anybody have any of these lenses or are any other third party lenses worth a look.

The Tamron 17-50 is a great lens, stay clear of the VC.
I also liked the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 EX DG HSM (not macro)

I've tried friends Tamron 17-50mm - very sharp and contrasty. There is a lot of distortion at 17mm and they aren't built to withstand any abuse. Focusing is a bit noisy.

The others should be very similar.

The Sigma 24-70mm (that same one) was the worst lens I have ever seen by a very long margin - soft and lacking contrast. Steer well clear of that one.

I have the Tamron 28-75 2,8 on a Nikon - very good lens, and great value for money.
