The word 'quality' comes to mind; metal mount, weather seal, etc., see the press release . . . there is always one . . . :shrug:

By the why B16, whats my car got to do with anything? . . . :thinking:

Patience, down boy, wait!!! :lol: . . . I think the 35mm AF-S is considerably more. I'm wrong, see 'PS' . . . so it all about FL . . . ?

PS, checked it out, middle for diddle; 35mm AF-S, Jessops, £179 . . . ! there are a couple a little cheaper, 'pays your money, takes your choice' . . .

I thought the 35mm AF-S was only about £160 when I bought a copy before Xmas. Surely it's not got that much more expensive has it?

How extensive is the weather sealing? Because the press release says weather sealed mount, which I'm assuming is a rubber ass-gasket (to use Mr Ken Rockwell's term) to prevent dust going in to the body, but it doesn't say the actual lens is sealed.

Still, looks like a very promising lens, great to see nikon providing what the community asks for :)
