New Nikon fit ?????????

On recent visit to Currys I noticed some rather nice looking Sigma Lenses at a really good price. The only problem is the fitting looks different to my current lenses (the electrical contacts) are on the base of the mount rather than the side. will these lenses fit my D70 if not directly is would there be an adapter available for them ?

Knowing Currys, it's probably not for Nikon, it's probably a new attachment for a smegging Dyson.

Their displays are very poor, I spotted the Sony stand in our local Currys Mega store and saw they had the new NEX-5R, wandered over only to find that they had put out the NEX-F3 instead. I asked an assistant who replied "I've was transferred to this section 2 days ago and I'm not sure" - he mumbled and walked off, only to serve someone else.

Nikon f mount hasn't changed for decades. There is the nikon j1/v1 mount now but I didn't think sigma made anything for that.

Nikon fit hasn't changed, they were likely not Nikon fit on the display...

Do a google image search for Nikon mount, then canon mount, sony, pentax, sigma and seeif you recognise which they are for.

That figures and they had 2 on display :( both with the same ticket. I wasnt sure if Nikon had changed the fitting for the full frame cameras. Looks like Sony or Canon mount from google images.
