New Old Film Challenge #12 Animals Discussion thread.

The choice for this challenge, by popular demand, is animals. Pets, zoo animals, wild animals and the even the furious.

Usual rules apply, it will run for 7 days until next Saturday, then voting for 3 days.

Long-horned, brown, woolly animals like @Andysnap's nice photo are Highland Cattle. Aberdeen Angus are small, black, smooth haired cattle.

IIRC in this challenge it's nae bother if it's been seen before; my fawn almost certainly has (but Photobucket's search option is so rubbish I couldn't easily find it, so uploaded another copy).

It was either the Crane or a Lemur from South Lakes Zoo last year - plumped for the crane
