For the New Old Film Challenge No. 219, show us your old photos of things that are superfluous, surplus to requirements, unnecessary or no longer required etc.

As usual the following rules apply:

- Must be taken by you
- Must be on film
- Must have been taken, developed and scanned prior to the start date of this challenge.
- Discussion in the discussion thread (link below) rather than this Entries thread, please.
- Shoehorning and even Crowbars are positively encouraged!

Please include details of the camera, lens, emulsion and anything else of relevance if you can possibly remember that far back.

One Entry per person only.

Entries close at 23:59 on 4th October 2023 (or thereabouts), to be followed by 3 days for the poll after that.

Please keep all discussion and chit chat in the discussion thread. https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/t...allenge-discussion-thread.698995/post-9389603

A bit political, no need for this contraption anymore as Southport council aren't making the slightest effort to fix the pier after, how many years?

A Yashica SLR, probably the 35mm f2.8 lens, a favourite at the time, Fuji Superia 1600.

Superfluous date, grrrr!

CN04E23_Adj Austria.jpg

Taken with an Olympus mju (1), with the annoying date setting turned on {EDIT}; film edge marks say fuji s-200 {/EDIT}. I couldn't work out how to turn it off. Not only is the date superfluous, it is also wrong; this was taken within a day or two of 24 October 2004, so it's some 14 years out!

A lake a little south of Salzburg, presumably Königssee, so therefore in Germany rather than Austria!
