Amazing. I recognised straight away that steveo_mcg's entry was West Bow, but despite living in Edinburgh for over ten years and walking up that road many times, I have no recollection of that structure in the middle of the road. Off to Google maps, and sure enough, there it is. The original Traverse theatre was behind and to the right of where the pic was taken, where I once propped up the bar with Robbie Coltrane.
