New or old Lenspen version?

I am thinking of buying one of the Lenspens. On Amazon there are two versions, the old one at £4.48 and the new one at £11.05. Is it really worth paying the extra money?

Looking at the pics and the blurb, I can't see that much difference between them. I'd buy two of the original, and save some money while the 'old' version are at that price.

Just had a look myself. I have the old red one and I had a new gold one from Wex as it was on offer with another purchase. To be honest, I found the gold one poor as regards to the amount of solvent or whatever they use in the cleaning part. I have since stopped using the gold as it's no good / run out of solvent and the older red one still cleans better, although older.
