New or second hand - your views

Just seen a second hand D700 sell for £1445 on eBay! Only had 1000 actuations and a seller with 100pct feedback including some other camera equipment but that seems like a crazy price to me! I am sure for £100 more you could buy a brand new one with the Nikon warranty.
 
Some people go crazy on ebay...I have seen some sites with the same items at Buy It Now of £50...and the same ones starting on Bidding...people have Bid up to £60+...CRAZY...!!!

yeah ebay can be a bit crazy, always research the going rate for what your buying before getting into the biding or buy it now game. ive seen many things on there being sold used for more than new price lol
 
you can get great stuff used too. I buy everything used.

My body I got used but from a dealer so he had to give a 1 year warranty which is enough for me
