PS. We have one of the 22.5" ones and I'm quite impressed actually. Not compared direct with my calibrated Dells, but looked good from a first quick look on the laptop (Ms arad85 has it as an additional monitor for business use).You can buy an IPS monitor for ~£100 if you are limited in budget. It won't be as good as the more expensive Dells, but they are definitely better than the TN panels.

I bought a Dell U2412M 24" WideScreen IPS for just over £200 in october last year and it's the best monitor I've had by far, and I've had a few of them in my time. I'm sure they are under £200 now so it might be worth stretching your budget a little to see what you can get. The one I got has 'Display Port' and DVI input but no HDMI, but you can get an adapter from HDMI to DVI and others. It's a great monitor for the money and a great resolution for photo processing.
