I just ordered the parts for my new base unit:

Coolermaster Praetorian 732 aluminium case
Hiper 580W Type R PSU
DFI Lanparty UTnF4 Ultra-D motherboard
Athlon 64 4200x2 CPU
2Gb Corsair XMS RAM
2 x 250Gb SATA II Hard drives
512mb Radeon X1900XTX Graphics card
Dual Layer DVDRW

I've not upgraded my PC's for years now, other than diskspace. I don't play FPS online games anymore so I don't need to spend £300 every 2 months on the latest bleeding edge graphics card or CPU and brick sized hs&f

Same here! Upgraded just to play UT2k3 in about 1485.

I got a new DVD-burner this week. I didnt know which one to get, so I got the Asus on the basis that my old man has one which is ok, and I didnt want another Sony. I then open Custom PC mag this morning to see a group test of DVD-burners. And guess which comes bottom? Yes, my Asus.
