Hello all,

I just created a new website for myself, the gallery is half empty i am still working on it, but i thought i will add it here, so you guys can have a look and tell me what you think.

Your views are very important because every time i ask something on here i seem to learn something new.

First page fine. Tried the gallery and as soon as click on a thumbnail the whole site seems to hang.

Tried again and OK clicking on the icon to move left/right but the thumnail thing is annoying.

work in progress I guess.
 
hi, what browser are you using, couz for me it works lighting ffast and nothing hangs... :( strange..

Thanks for the comments, i will see what can be done, would be nice to bring the thumnails to vissible all the time, couz people sometimes can miss out on the full picture...

Works fine with firefox at home though :)
 
Looks good & nice simple navigation. It would be nice to see some sort of image rotation on the homepage so I can get an overview of your work without having to click.

Also, there is a strange black line above the contact form, maybe a firefox bug or is it supposed to be there?

All in all, good job though!
 
Looks good. When you click about > read more a popup appears but is out of the screen view, you can just see the bottom of the popup
 
dagermoose - thanks for the comment, i will take a look at the black line i saw its there, but didnt have a chance to address it. Yeah homepage image rotation would be nice i will incorporate it at a later date.

tpd - what browser are you using, seems to work fine in firefox

i'm looking at making my own webiste, I love the look of yours, could you tell me how you created it, for example is it done using an online website builder? could you tell me what it is you used? and also if it was free? if it wasn't free could you suggest some good ones that are, and also able to have a free domain name?

Free is generally cheap looking SophMB. THere are perhaps a few that are ok but if you want a site to entice customers, it has to look professional.

Why don't you buy a domain name? THey are very very cheap - I think mine cost me about £3 and I pay to have my site hosted which is maybe £30 a year (not sure of exact pricing) but that is very cheap.
 
Well my domain was bought through 123-reg.co.uk, i think they are the cheapest, the site uses CMS wordpress which is free, then i used a template from themeforest which was about 30$ and hosting for 6$ a month, which includes cpanel, phpmyadmin very fast reliable. If you like my template pm me and I could help you out, in setting up your website.
