Looking for a replacement for my Epson 1290. Any suggestions. Any thoughts on the R1400?:bang::bonk:

What is your budget and what size do you want to print? Are there any features you need/want.

Not sure what size you are after but I find HP printers excellent. The ones with individual colour cartridges are also economical to run.

for a3 I the field is open
epsons are great but expensive to run
canons the cheapest option I think and pretty good
HP's have impressed me on A3 and have lots of ink options, replacing certain carts with greyscale tri-colour black/grey, etc carts or a dedicated blue
that's how it was...I'm a bit behind the times now

I can recommend an Epson R2880, prints A3+ has 9 individual cartridges and quality is excellent, you can find good prices for this printer now and if you shop around for the inks you can get the cartridges for about £10-£12 each delivered.

I use a Canon Pixma IX4000 and is great, quality from it is fantastic
