And boy is it sharp. This is a piccy of Buzz my springer spaniel taken with my new lens. Should have used a smaller aperture really as 3.5 wasn't quite enough. I know not great shots but just testing.
 
Cool Alby (y) they are pretty damned sharp! I think the DOF works OK as well

Nice looking spaniel BTW

Thanks for looking Chris and trex, Slapo I just slapped on the lens and popped up the flash to make sure it was working :LOL: I'll stick the 580 on and do some proper shot later ;)
