Beginner New to macro ID Please.

Hello, I went for a bug walk a couple of weeks back, ive been so busy that I just got around to processing the shots... these are not the best out of my bag (and I'm not looking for critique, thanks) but I am curious as to what they are... I've tried to look for similar creatures on-line but I'm not getting anywhere, can someone please help?



First up: this funny looking thing looked like it was eating something... ewww.

Next: is this some kind of crane fly???

And what on earth are these with the funny things sticking out of the front... yuk. Is the little darker one a baby?

Hi and welcome to this crazy side of the forum, ok I'm on my phone atm but they don't look too bad, as for Id's, last one is a ladybird larvae, I guess the things are some sort of feet clamps. Post a shot of your set up here too and tell us all your settings as that will help too.

The last is a ladybird pupae. The second is some sort of cranefly yes. Not sure on the first.

The first one is a Plant Bug - Heterotoma planicornis nymph.

The cranefly is I believe the Spotted Cranefly - Nephrotoma guestfalica.
