Congratulations! I have recently gone from a PC to a 27" imac and i would never go back. So smooth, so quick and so neat and no problems either setting it up or learning how to use it. All I need now is a mac book pro to compliment it.

Nice to see another Apple user join the fold:thumbs:

The newer large screen iMacs are nice, you'll love the ease of use and the way things "just work" on an Apple and the OS is very user friendly, if you previously had "windoze" then bear with it. My problem is since I bought a Macbook Air I can't prise it away from the missus, and she is a technophobe most of the time.

When you get it up and running you may find it'll go and look for updates. The latest 10.6.3 is a fairly large one and could take a fair time to download ( mine took 1 1/2 hrs ).However you may be lucky enough to have it loaded already

So if you want to get playing, sorry working, on you new machine straight away then press the "Later" option when the software update message apears.

I just hope it rains tomorrow so I won't have to do gardening and can play, sorry, work instead. :)

concidering the last batch of updates for snow leopard (from clean install) was about 600mb+ id expect an update from scratch to take about an hour dependant on connection and/or load on apples update servers.
