Well I had to do it LOL all the gear no idea lol. 5dmk11 24-105 and 24-70 2.8:clap: but OMG what pics  all to pair with my 50d.

i have the 5D2 and 24-105 which is never off the camera. A bit of vignetting at the wide end I've noticed. the 24-70 is heavier and faster and althoughj I have the Tamron 28-75 f2.8, I never really need the extra speed of the 24-70. I have the 24-195 on the 5D2 aqnd the 70-200 2.8L IS on the 40D.
i'm sure you will enjoy the 5D though.

MMMMMMMM it really is nice, looking forward to some low light suff. Got it from LCE they came up with a great deal aswell. Hard to find better deal on the net, wanted a bg6 with it to they are arm and leg lol.

I got a BG6 on the web (ebay) for £37 (aftermarket one) - works well and with a £10 battery I can shoot 2000 and still have plenty juice left!

And the problem is?

Really the number of shots these batteries take 've had no problems. 1500 shots shooting nursery images last week and still the Canon battery showed 3/4 full. Given the batteries are usead alternately in the grip, I think the £10 battery must have been doing a lot of work with no issues. Another 1000 images yesterday. Not even close to empty! So long as you recharge after your shoot, you will never need to worry about not being able to see the juice left.

To see what you have, remove the 3rd party one and the Canon battery shows the power left.
