new tripod head help

I've got a budget of about £200 for a new tripod head, specifically for landscape but I will do some studio work too. It will be carted up and down mountains so weight, to some degree, is a consideration.

I've looked at :

Think I would take a look at the usual suspects such as Kirk, Markins, Arca and RRS along with their clones Feisol, Photoclam and Sunwayfoto

Only hearsay because I haven't owned one, but Gitzo heads don't seem to command the same respect as their tripods. The other one I have no idea about, that link doesn't give a weight, but must be fairly substantial to take a load of 40kg

The 3 way Gitzo head I have is great as a landscape head.

Not too heavy and bulky for hiking and whilst it won't support a tank it's enough for typical landscape gear. Very smooth too.

I'd have a look at a Manfrotto 410, the smallest of the geared heads. It isn't that heavy, mine goes on a set of CF Gitzo legs for when I want to trek up hills and don't want to carry the 055XPRoB with 405 head. Once you've tried a geared head for landscapes you'll never go back IMO.
