New website/business card

Website is currently being re designed, but I've just received these sample pages. What do you think? The images on each page aren't definite, I'm still choosing what I want on each page.

Site looks nice. Is it just in the Photoshop stage at the moment, or is there some code somewhere?

For the card, I'd suggest you lose the hotmail address and get email sorted on your domain, then you can give out the email address as "contact@chiccaphotography.com" or whatever, and it looks a lot more professional (well, I think so anyway, hotmail makes me cringe).

I like the site, whats i created in? the layout looks nice an clean and shuld be easy enough to navigate. :thumbs:

also think the business card is good, think the type face suits the type of photography shown. :thumbs:

ps. as Martyn says.. maybe look into getting an email address with your domain name, i dont really like hotmail accounts.
(which reminds me that i am still using gmail on my business cards)

Agree with the disposable email comments, seems to be saying
"I'll give it a go but, won't go too far in case it doesn't work out"
 
It's being changed as we speak, actually doing a shoot with the card designer tomorrow. Website's just at design stage at the moment, should be all done in a couple of weeks though!
 
Under the examples of your work you list the types of photography you shoot.

Is that the order of preference you wish to find your business as a future bride may be put off that you have weddings last?

I'd order this list alphabetically unless as psi says this is ordered by preference.

In alphabetic order wedding still comes last but anyone looking at your site will realize why you've chosen the order you have.

As mentioned above, you need a proper email address.

I'm not a fan of the logo to be honest, the two typefaces don't go together and it says Paintball to me, with the army style font paint splats. I know what kind of style you're going for, I'd say it's not quite there yet.

I like the idea of the back though, i've been thinking of showing off a few images when I make my own business card. With those images, I think you should either add more images of non clubbing ones, or just remove the two tree/flower photos as they are a bit random being surrounded by clubbing photos.

If you're going to have two different colours, you may want to consider changing the colour 'photography' for different parts of your website or maybe just a get a few different colours made up for the business cards. Could make it more interesting, fun, and it would be more involved with the website.
 
site looks amazing but and the business card aswell. my only point would be that you should aim your portfolio at one type of photography that way the client knows exactly waht type of photographer you are. If you wished to have a portrait port then just make another site. i been watching alot of zack portfolio reviews and he keeps going on about it.
 
You may not want to do post your e-mail address on your web site, your e-mail address will get harvested and flooded with spam making it impossible to use. Replace it with a contact form, you can either code it yourself and use your web host back end or get somebody like

http://response-o-matic.com/

to handle the form, they simply forward it to an e-mail address you supply, the outside world never see's your e-mail address.

You may be able to mirror your hotmail address with your hosting or doman package.
This means you@blahdeblah.com would return emails to your hotmail address.
Alternatively you could set up a less blatent free email account, i quite like inbox.com
yourname@inbox.com isn't too intrustive :)
