New Years Drinks

Exposure is Good, And its a nice Scotch ;)
Unfortunately it doesnt work for me. Crop is not great either.

It looks like the picture you take when testing how sharp your lens is.

Maybe if it was next to a half poured glass with some bokeh from Christmas tree lights in the background it may have added something?

I agree :plus1:

The background does look nicely out of focus- but a half full glass ( showing all of the glass) of the amber nectar would have made this shot a keeper

Note to self, take picture before drinking ;)

I took some shots with more of the glass visible but it didn't look right being empty so I decided to go for this approach and go close up.

This was taken with my new nifty-fifty and was very much an after thought of the night before. We only bring out the Gold Label for special occasions, so next time Ill try to improve the shot :)
