newbie with flash (sigma flashgun)

hiy guys,

right i'm in need for some help. i really want a flash gun and i have been looking at getting one

i was looking at the Sigma EF530 ST DG Flashgun NA-ITTL

a few questions for those who own one.

will this work with my D60 infra red sensor (to flash when shutter buttin is pushed)

and will i need to buy any other accessories to make it work with my slr

Its a lot for an independant, I would stump up the rest and get the sb600 then you are sure it will all function correctly........Thats what I have just done and am glad I did the SB600 is excellent.

I've a Super DG and that has no infra red function, so doubt the ST does.

No accessories are needed.

As above, get the Nikon flash if I were you.

The Sigma EF530 ST DG Flashgun NA-ITTL is the basic/limited function model, the 530/500 super is much better value for money. Can be used off camera via a 'wireless' link. Check ebay there's a few up now.
