Hi Linda & Welcome
Have you narrowed your choice to these 2 bodies specifically ?
The best advice you'll have, is (as Gareth says) to go and try them out to see which feels best in your hands, which bodies buttons, menu system etc etc feel the most natural for you.
Shot wise / function wise - they are all very much similar, there may be slight differences between the bodies, but on a whole they are all built to a certain spec and will produce as good images as one another...
Do you have anyone you know that owns a camera system - this can come in handy if you have the same manufactorer for help & advice, trying out different lenses they may have / possibly even borrowing one...
When you start off with a new camera, you are buying into a system and most of the time, people generally do not switch manufactorers once they start off - hence why it's recommmended you try the cameras out...
Hope this is of some help, ask away if you have any other questions, we will always try to help...
