Newer 1Dmk3 AF issues?

Regarding the 1Dmk3 AF problems, are newer models exempt from any of the issues? Did they totally fix the problem on the later models or are there still some with issues?

I am thinking of getting a second hand one so if I get one with a serial number later than the ones effected by the AF problems should it be totally fine?

I got a late one,got it brand new in June 2008 and the focus was fine.

Bought my MKIII in October 09. Shot a little under 10000 frames and no probs. Hope i havent just jinxed myself.

ive got one after the affected serial number range and its fine (apart from user error)
