I currently shoot with a NEX-6, 16-50 kit lens, 105mm Sigma f2.8 and the 70-200 Tamron F2.8 (both zooms use the A mount adapter).
I'm planning to upgrade to the A7 in the next few weeks, so will lose the 16-50. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it's not the greatest lens known to man, but I does leave me wondering how to replace it.
Do I go for the Zeiss 24-70 F4, or the Zeiss 35 or Zeiss 55mm prime?
How much sharper are the prime lenses?
I mainly shoot sports, but will be doing a lot more close up/wide angle photography with work soon so need something accomplished below 70mm...
