Nice slow snails

I have progressed from hoverflies to snails. While they do seem to prefer to turn their backs on the camera at least you can make them pose somewhere convenient. This particular one decided to escape between the cracks in the picnic bench, until the shell stuck fast and it had to be rescued.

Sue - I quite agree (that they are revolting creatures) some of the photos show the slime.

Very good set. My fav is the third one. Love the detail and composition. Snails are so often over looked.
