My niece is over from Latvia for Christmas, haven't seen her for two years so it's been great to catch up with her and my brother. I'm no good at portraits or people, too slow:bang:. This was caught with a 60mm macro lens that happened to be on the camera at the time, I was really pleased with it so thought I'd share.

Ah well Mark, nobody seems to want to comment so I will. Excellent shot and composition imo, just slightly orange for me but a few tweeks'll sort that. That said it does have a nice soft warm feel to it. So it's a well done from me buddy(y)

Thanks Brash, it was taken last night with no flash, just a table lamp, I like the orange tint I got, but may have a play and see if I can tone it down a bit.

Had to look to see what the cactus smiley was. Had to laugh when I saw it. Sums things up when you are hopeful of getting some replies to a post but there are numerous views and no comments left.
