With living in the countryside by day there are lots of subjects to photograph with birds, ROE Deer and Foxes but by nightfall I'm discovering lots more interesting animals in particular Owls, i have a trail camera set up and have nightly visits from Tawny Owls and Badgers i also have a Barn Owl that frequents my garden but have never had the camera to hand at the right time! On Sunday evening i was returning from the stables heading to the house when i could see something flying around so headed in to the house as i went to switch of the lights to my surprise there it was sitting on my patio wall needless to say i grabbed the camera and fired off some shots through the window! I have know for a few years the Barn owl has been here so i would love further opportunities if they come my way to photograph it My question is what is the secret to successful night shooting? I have done some reading on the net but would love some experienced info on the subject please....
Many Thanks
