More from the backlog. These were captured at night with my G5 and 45-175, some using a Raynox 250 some using the more powerful Raynox MSN-202, all at f/22 (equivalent to f/45 on full frame). All used a KX800 twin flash,
I don't recall what combination of hand-held and tripod-assisted working I used. If I did use a tripod it would have been hands-on to help with framing shots and capturing sequences of shots. A hands-off, "leave the tripod to settle and use a remote release" approach would not have been practical (for me).
There are 1300 pixel high versions of the 60 images I kept from this session in this album at Flickr.
Processing involved (I'll try to get it right this time):

Processing involved (I'll try to get it right this time):
- Creating a longlist in Faststone Image Viewer by rejecting obvious non-runners
- Batch processing the longlist raw files in DXO Optics Pro, output as DNG files
- Batch processing the DNG files in Silkypix Developer Pro, output as TIFF files
- First stage shortlisting the TIFF files in Lightroom and applying image-specific adjustments
- Outputting the shortlisted images from Lightroom as 1300 pixel high JPEGs
- Reordering and second stage shortlisting in Faststone Image Viewer
- Quality and consistency review of the shortlist JPEGs in XNView, and for some
- Adjustments of the TIFF file in Lightroom and reexport as JPEG
- noise reduction of JPEG background in Nik Dfine
- rejection
- Adjustments of the TIFF file in Lightroom and reexport as JPEG
- renaming the final selection of JPEGs in Faststone Image Viewer
