Nikkor 28mm f1.8G advice

Anyone here experienced the Nikkor 28mm f1.8G lens.....?.....would like to hear views/experience/thoughts please, and posted images would be appreciated.

Allegedly suffered from field curvature but I never experienced this. Was 50% of my favourite 2 lens kit along with the 85mm until I gave up on nikon. Very nice weight and handing, very useful length for shooting places. Just about the limit before distortion makes people on the edge of frames look ridiculous, although I would probably stick to 35mm to be safe.

used to have it on the d700 and really loved it. I now have the 24 1.4g but the 28 is basically just as good i reckon...I kind of miss it for its weight and size.
