My uncle was given a box of lenses (he has a bridge camera so not sure why!) most of them were broken or not useable but here was a Nikkor micro 60mm in there, it looks barely used, was still in the box and seems to work ok.

He gave it to me (lucky me) but I have no idea what to use it for!

It has a dial but it doesn't seem to move, it is stuck on (what I guess is f stop) 32.

The box did not have any instructions and I can find anything on-line for it's use.

It is a macro lens. (Micro is what Nikon calls macro).

The reason the manual aperture ring will not move off f/32 is because it has a lock holding it there. You need it locked when using it on any modern DSLR because else it will give a F EE error if you try to use it.

Mount the lens on your D90 and shoot some shots. Like any macro lens, it is very sharp and you will be able to focus really close up, like a few inches from the subject.

A macro lens works like any other lens, except that it can focus very close up.

You can use it for normal photos as well as really close up stuff.

Put it on your camera and see what it can do!!
