Nikn D3200 Feature?

so I bought Mrs TGR a nice shiny new D3200.

In jpeg can get images that are 6016x4000, but in RAW, they are showing up as 1632x1080@ approx. 20mb permage

So, in RAW it looks like I'm not getting my 24Mp worth.

Any ideas?

And Lightroom 4 does not recognise the RAW file version. Ahhhhh. Where's my D700 gone?

Sound very strange. Have you updated LR4 to the latest version via their website? I had to update to get the d7100 raw file to be recognised.

A couple of odd things going on here. Im using L4.4but importing AW files it says "the files are not recognised by the raw format" But there are no updates!
But even when using View NX2,it only thinks the RAW files are 1632x1080. Yet the JPEG are seen as full 24Mp.Never seen anything like this before.

I think that it isn't reading the raw file, the small image you see is the jpg embedded in the raw file that is used as a preview, hence its small size
