Nikon 1 J2 shutter

Hi all,

Just picked up a Nikon 1 J2 and love it!
But I have a question: when I fitted the lens to it, the sensor was just exposed - ie. there was no shutter covering it whilst it was off.

Is this normal? And does it even have a shutter or is it just all electronic?

Thanks Mark, wasn't sure. Is there any reason why they won't put the shutter down when the camera is off to help prevent dust?
