The nikon is slow and the Tokina fast but it's for mainly landscape photography on a Nikon D90 and to supplement my 16-85 (walkabout). Has anyone experience of both?
Thanks Guys, the posters who have used the Tokina 11-16 can I ask you what you used it for ie Landscapes or buildings or people or all 3? any pitfalls using it with any particular type of pics?
I've bought a couple of things from OSD and can't fault them either. I even received one lens sent from Honk Kong within 3 days. Thanks Dr O (and everyone else)
Tokina 11-16 it is then, was going to buy from ONE STOP DIGITAL (HK) as their price is pretty good- any issues with them?
One Stop Digital do not offer the 24month global Tokina warranty which means Kenro will not touch it, they offer their own type.
I would only buy from someone that offers the International warranty so Kenro will fix it if it goes wrong - there is a seller on ebay - fujisunrise, I bought mine from him on a Friday and it delivered on Monday with proper Tokina warranty
I started a thread elsewhere about the Tokina and posted a few sample images - I'm totally impressed with it, especially at the price.

After posting this thread, another Tokina owner came along and posted a thread comapring the Tokina to the Sigma 10-20mm. You can judge for yourself, but I reckon that all was not well with his copy of the Tokina, as I (and others) haven't seen any of those problems with my copy. Judge for yourself though
