Nikon 10-24mm

Does any body actually own this lens?

Just incase some one searches this thread in the future as i would of found this helpful i can confirm it works with IR Infrared filters 830nm and doesnt produce any hotspots

Getting Nikon D700 with 24-70mm lens in a couple of weeks

then following a month or two later with the 70-200mm

then the wide angle 10-24

and then i want a decent macro

then i might stop spending money for a bit

I am on about converted cameras mine is a converted D200, i dont know if lens filters work or not,

i can say that my 24-70mm produces hotspots though

but on the bright side the 14-24mm, 70-200mm and the 300mm f4 and my primes don't produce them

Oh btw the nikon 10-24mm is a DX lens and wont be full frame on your D700, you need the nikon 14-24mm but thats pricey, brilliant but pricey, then theres the sigma 12-24mm which my dad uses with his D700

wow - beautiful I Cant wait to get my Nikon, havent had a camera for a couple of weeks now and am chomping at the bit!!! Coming up to Autumn too which is a wonderful time to take photos!
