Being a bit bored, I decided to undertake a bit of pixel peeping on portraits that I'd taken with the above lens.
Whilst the focus was spot on, I did notice that perhaps the lens was not quite as sharp as 1) I thought and 2) it perhaps should be given the price.
Then I did think 1) Should it be bitingly sharp given that it could be considered a portrait lens ? and
2) I don't know how i set the the DC control ring for each shot.
A lot of my shots are at F/2, but any use of the DC control ring are usually limited to a max of F/4, and always behind- if that makes any sense.
Any other users of the DC lens have any advice/tips for getting the best out of the lens?
