Nikon 105mm Micro

Thinking of buying the Nikon 105mm vr Micro lens. I'm a complete novice to macro photography, never tried it before but it fascinates me. Anyone have Amy experience of this lens? And any example pics of how close you can get to bugs etc with no equipment other than this lens on a D90?

You could have a look on Pixel-Peeper which would show you some of what you can achieve

Great lens - not at my desk till mid week so can't show samples. Also makes a great portrait lens.
