Yes
torn between the two after dismissing the Nikon 10-24 due to reviews.

Anyone used either or both of these lenses? pro's and con's?

Did you read Ken Uncle's review here .
Thought it may be useful in your search.

Thanks, so Uncle ken says its the best Ultrawide for a crop sensor in the year of our lord 2008- wonder if thats still the case? if the lens manufacturing process hasnt changed then it could still well be the case- hmmmmmm I like Nikon but can save over £200 with the Tokina.......... what to do, what to do:thinking::help:

Hi,

Uncle Ken generally (99% ) updates his thread once the new version comes into world.
So the results should hold good even to date.

I've got the Tokina and it's a cracking lens - however it is a noisy beast which is a little off putting at times....I thought it was broken at first! The IQ seems good though I haven't compared it to the Nikon, and it certainly feels solidly made.

So bang for buck I'd certainly recommend it.

Have you considered the Tokina 12-24 f4 pro

I much prefered it over the sigma 10-20 when I had them both......
