Nikon 17/35mm 2.8

Guys
I am picking up a new 17/35mm 2.8 tomorrow to put on my D3s until next month when it will go on a new D800e"...............I hope this lens is as good as they say

By all accounts it's a good lens albeit more expensive than the 16-35 which is at least as good if not better depending on which review you read. I opted for the 16-35 as I've more use for the VR than I have for a bigger aperture.
