Hey,
xxxx I mean the 28-105 af d. Sorry. I now can't change the thread title xxxxxxx
so firstly i know this lens is not that great. it couldn't be at the price point but it does cover a range that is exactly what i am looking for. my budget is also low. i can manage the low light being not so good. that is not the issue. bokeh is more an issue to me but at 105 on a crop body, i think the bokeh might be quite decent. the question is sharpness. i am not into looking at charts. i don't obsess over sharpness but do you think it is a sharper lens than the kit lenses i.e. 55-200? i mean, is that even noticeable? it is a compromise but right now i need options and i can't afford more. if you think it is a total waste of money you can also say. i got a deal on one secondhand for 100. anyone using this lens regularly? maybe some pros and cons of it that i am not aware of? cheers
