Hi Folks,
Bought my granddaughter a coolpix L120 for Christmas, I registered it within 30 days of purchase with Nikon to get the extra guarantee period, this was back in November. I've chased them twice since then and been told both times that the relevant paperwork had been sent but up to now nothing has arrived. They tell me not to worry as the camera is definitely registered and that there is no need to worry in the event of of a problem with the camera, but I am uncomfortable about not having paperwork. When I registered my D90 the paperwork arrived in about a week. Anyone else had a similar problem?

When I registered my D300 it took them about 6 months to send the paperwork, and when they did it was for a D200 that someone else had purchased 3 months prior to me buying the D300.

Despite assurances that all was well and the error had been sorted the end if the 2 years saw a letter arrive from Homecare offering to extend the warranty, on the D200.....

OK, thanks Graham, at least I know then that Homecare are obviously just totally disorganised. I think they are based in Walsall which is only about 10 miles up the M5 from me so it looks like paying them a visit.
Thanks for replying.
Ken

They seem to be sloppy at the moment. My NPS membership ran out end December. I've now sent two emails, only to told that an email to renew will be sent shortly.
Still waiting. But they did say that I can still use the service, even though my card has expired.
I kept the email as evidence.

They've done pretty much the same to me, although I have now had the renewal stuff
