I was wondering if anyone can give me the heads up on how good or bad this lens is.
I came from Canon where I owned and loved the 24-105 IS lens and now own a very good Nikon 24-70 F2.8, however I think the 24-120 would suit me much better as a walk about lens.
I own a 50mm f1.4 for the fast stuff and a new Nikon 28-300 and am considering selling both the 24-70 and 28-300 and getting the 24-120 and a MKI 70-200 f2.8.
My problem is I knew every Canon lens so well but feel a bit lost with the Nikon selection, I dived in to buy the 28-300 thinking I could get away with just that and a 50mm f1.4 but I was mistaken and feel it might not get used that much if I sell my 24-70 in favour of the 24-120.
