As I know it's of interest to some, and it's not 'yet another brick wall test', I've posted some images taken with the above combo in the birds sub-forum, here: http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=348002
Usability is superb, considering it's the older lens model (made through 2004 I believe), and even shots wide open at f/5.6 show great IQ. Thanks to 'kevshore' for encouraging me to indulge in this kit!
