Nikon 300mm f4 with 1.7x converter

As per tiltle, would this be a good combo?

I know the 1.4 works well with this lens but can't find much on the 1.7.


Also do kenko or any other make that will work with the 300mm make a 1.7?

Nikon is the only one to do a 1.7.

Yeah i've been looking around and couldn't find anything, looks like it will have to be a 1.4x.
