Nikon 3100 - Where to buy.

After a lot of research I think ive settled on a Nikon 3100 for my first slr. (comments?)

I see from that link you get a pre-paid card loaded with 40 quid. Is that always the case with Nikon? (I'm guessing that after tomorrow there will be a new offer from Nikon - at least I'm hoping so anyway).

You need to check you get the £40 online as it does not apply to some online retailers.

I got mine from my local london camera exchange, it worked out the same as amazon prices and because I registered an account they gave me some money off vouchers - I used the £10 off a new camera bag one there and then.
Personally when buying camera gear I would much rather price check all the local camera shops against the Internet and factor in the fact that you are not entrusting your new expensive kit to our postal delivery service.

Friend of mine got a new 3100 for 485 euro with the lens.
He got a 10% discount as he knew some1 working jn the shop and also availed of the nikon rebate about 2 months ago here in Ireland
