nikon 35mm 1.8 ?

going on a curise on the 12th of december to the caribbean. was thinking about buying a 35mm 1.8 for it also for my genral use for my bike shots.

what are peoples thoughts on this lens ?

I've used it on a crop sensor like yours and it shows quite an accurate representation of what the human eyes see's, similar to the 50mm on a FF camera.

As for the lens its self, I really liked it although I only had it for the weekend. Fast to focus and was nice an crisp.

I have one and find it not wide enough for many shots - so I miss the shot taking time to step back, etc. Otherwise, it is excellent.
