I've been looking to see if anyone is using the new Nikon 35mm f1.8G lens on full frame but I can't see any thread for it.

I had a Sigma 35mm f1.4 before and love the 35mm view but sold it to get a more versatile Tamron 24-70 f2.8 and I'm looking for a lighter lens as a companion for when I don't want to lug the 24-70!

I've already got a 24mm f2.8D which doesn't impress me quite as much on the D800 so looking for a new lens and the new Nikon 35mm f1.8 has caught my eye as a cheaper, lighter alternative to another Sigma, it also appears to get very good reviews and is compared to the other good quality cheap lenses like the 50mm f1.8G and 85mm f1.8G but I wondered if anyone was using it?

I'm thinking of chopping in my 28mm f1.8G against one of these and the new 20mm f1.8, That would give me a nice balanced set of primes then.

I use one, along with the rest of the 1.8G primes. It's great but I tend to use the 28mm more for the extra width. Can't fault it at all.
