Nikon 35mm F2 on Full Frame

Hi all,
As per the title - has anyone used the 35mm F2 on a D3/D700? Thinking of treating myself but wondered how good it is first?
If annyone has any pics shot wide open I'd be really grateful

On a D300 has to be one of my favourite lenses, nice close focus ability, sharp, good colour and contrast. Have read D700 users reports on it over on FM review pages, no issues reported.
Had one for a while - it's nice; sharp, nice colour and bokeh, pretty fast and small form factor. Older design lens, so build quality feels good (although beware of some issues with 2nd hand ones - something to do with oil on the aperature blades, not a problem in new ones though). However, if you've got the 50 f/1.4 it's probably not worth it to be honest (not sure if you have). If you haven't, it might be worth a go to see if you like the focal length on FF. The only reason I got rid of mine is because I have the 50.

Decent lens for the money, but the AF isn't great in low-light (speed or accuracy), so typical of AF-D lenses.
